While today seemed to be another busy one, not a lot really happened. It was quite a forgettable day, to be honest. I’m sure something happened of significance, but just not to me.

We had our first day of our outdoor tent sale. What a dud. We gave out a couple catalogs. That was it. No sales whatsoever from that. Extremely disappointing. I worked on getting a javascript slider working on the website. Hopefully it gives the homepage a “fresh feel” without having to do a whole lot. Oh, and I also broke my test Magento upgrade. I’m not sure what I did wrong, but the database did not update how it was supposed to. Hopefully tomorrow I can revert it and try again.

My wife scratched her eye this morning. She really couldn’t see, so I had to run to get the girl child from school. So I finished my work day from home. Hopefully my wife’s eye isn’t too bad. Her stupid allergy medicine is drying her out too much. Sucks because it almost seems like trading one problem for another. Oh life.

I tried calling the IRS today to get my new bill onto a payment plan. Man were they busy. I was on hold for 20 minutes, then I had to hang up so I could get my daughter. I guess I’ll try again tomorrow.

I finally found out more about my online handle, Viznix. There is some guy in Norway who keeps using it. I think he’s the asshole that got it on XBox Live and now he has it on Google Games. So I have to use Viznixx on those services. What a fucking prick. I’ve been using it since about 2001 or so. I got it by randomly hitting keys on the keyboard. I really liked the way it looked, so I kept it. To me it didn’t really have a meaning. I decided today to see if there was a meaning to the word, maybe in a foreign language or something. I couldn’t find anything like that, but I did find something that I really like.

Viz= In other words
Nix= Nothing

So my handle translates to “In other words, nothing”. I actually really like that. It seems to fit me. Kind of a smartass, sarcastic remark.

Here’s hoping for a wonderful Thursday.

Peace out Fuckers!
